When to use it?

My place is a thin meetup helper: share “I’m here” by URL or QR for one hour. Not live tracking—best for the minutes before you meet.

First meetup from a dating or matching app

Before exchanging LINE or a phone number, paste the URL in the in-app chat. Good when you want to meet without raising the contact-exchange bar too early.

Station exits and “this sign”

Coordinates alone fail in big stations. Attach an optional exit/sign photo and a short note so they can search by what it looks like.

Travelers and inbound guests

No new app install—paste into WhatsApp, iMessage, or LINE, or show the QR. An English UI helps when the other person’s phone is set to English.

Hotel, tour, or event “meet here”

Lobbies, meeting boards, and venue entrances. A one-hour pin is enough when the meetup ends and you do not want a lasting trail.

The last few hundred meters of a pickup

When a car is coming and you need “which side of the building,” a link beats retyping an address. They can check distance on-device and open Apple/Google Maps.

Leave and return — or hand off to someone still en route

Not for the person standing next to you. Helps when you split up briefly and come back, or when a friend with you scans the QR and forwards it to someone still on the way.

What it is not

Not family live-tracking, delivery tracking, or multi-hour trails. The pin is the create-time coordinate and lasts one hour. Prefer it when you will meet within an hour, want to avoid extra contacts, or an exit photo would help.
